MASHUP – 2nd Edition – Digital Marketing Conference, In a Boat!

James Steward - Venture Beat - mashup conference

Yup, in a boat we set the regions most influential marketing gathering… We chose our venue to be in the iconic Arabian Dhow – Al Hashemi. A destination that reflects not only history, but also grandeur, elegance and remarkable artistry of Kuwait’s culture. The source of business for many merchants in the past and today the place where the future of business and technology are emerging.

Al Hashemi Dhow

Last week, we concluded another successful conference MASHUP MENA, our Digital Marketing Conference & Expo that brought together more than 30 speakers, 500 audience members and offered 20 sessions with Kuwait as the host city for the 2nd year in a row.

“We launched this event as part of our international efforts to promote the digital sector and provide a platform where professionals could converge to learn, network and share. We provided marketing professionals the latest trends, best practices with regards to the evolving consumer and overall changes in consumer dynamics in todays market place, notably via digital experiences.

As digital touch points becomes an integral part of any marketing campaign, it is important for marketers to understand the role, dynamics and tools required for an integrated approach.” Said Fady Kamal, The CEO of Center of Digital Excellence, the company organizing this event.

We believe that our diverse and dynamic group of speakers and panelists provided in-depth insight, as well as, actionable and practical tools of engagement models, methods and strategies that have worked in other countries / clients.

We were able to share how digital technologies could be utilized to become more effective in the on-going marketing efforts in key areas such as:  Social, Digital, eCommerce, Mobile amongst other touch-points from the digital ecosystem.

We are overwhelmed with the attendance level and YOY attendees growth, and certainly looking forward to the 3rd edition.

We have uploaded some of the presentations shared in the conference and could be viewed on SlideShare:
